G.I.V.E. Relationship Tech Lab is the technology innovation division of the G.I.V.E. Relationship Intelligence Institute.
The Tech Lab was established to extend the Institute's mission beyond education and professional development by enabling the continued application of relationship intelligence through practical technology. It serves as the Institute's environment for research, innovation and the responsible application of emerging technologies that support individuals, professionals and organisations.
The Lab researches, designs and develops proprietary technology aligned with the Institute's long-term vision while exploring new opportunities for organisations to apply emerging technologies in practical, responsible and commercially sustainable ways. Its work is guided by a commitment to creating solutions that are purposeful, scalable and centred on lasting value rather than technology for its own sake.
While its initial portfolio reflects the Institute's focus on relationship intelligence, the Tech Lab's mandate extends far beyond individual products. It serves as the Institute's innovation environment, identifying opportunities where emerging technologies can solve meaningful problems, strengthen organisational capability and create lasting value across industries.
Team
Charlie is the Founder of G.I.V.E. Relationship Tech Lab, the technology innovation division of the G.I.V.E. Relationship Intelligence Institute.
A lifelong entrepreneur with experience across multiple industries, Charlie has spent more than two decades studying how meaningful relationships are formed, developed and sustained. His work is grounded in practical experience gained through hundreds of networking events, business interactions and professional collaborations, where he observed that many traditional approaches to networking prioritised transactions over genuine human connection.
These experiences led to the development of the G.I.V.E. Framework: Genuine Interest, Initiate Connection, Value Add and Engage Authentically, which became the foundation of his book, Connections that Count: The Art of Authentic Networking. Recognising that knowledge alone is not always enough to create lasting behavioural change, Charlie developed the G.I.V.E. Networking Assistant, a companion application that extends the learning experience beyond the pages of the book through practical application.
Building on that foundation, Charlie established the G.I.V.E. Relationship Tech Lab to develop proprietary digital products and explore how emerging technologies, intelligent systems and practical AI can solve meaningful problems and create lasting value. Today, the Lab's portfolio includes the live G.I.V.E. Networking Assistant, GodfatherConnect, currently in development, and future technology initiatives focused on relationship intelligence, intelligent workflows and AI-enabled solutions.
Known professionally as The Godfather of Networking, Charlie continues to combine decades of entrepreneurial experience with technology innovation to develop practical digital solutions that strengthen relationships and support organisations in an increasingly connected world.

The G.I.V.E. Networking Assistant is a live, AI-powered coaching app that turns the G.I.V.E. model into daily practice. It tailors itself to the user, whether scholar, student, entrepreneur or seasoned professional, and puts them through real world scenarios.
People read books on how to build relationships, but a book alone cannot build a habit. You finish the last page knowing what to do, and still go out and do it the old way. Reading is not practice. The Assistant closes that gap.
Each day it presents a short scenario and asks the user how they would respond. An AI coach then works with them one on one, challenging their instincts, pushing past the easy answer, and guiding them toward a more authentic way of connecting.
